On June 11, U-KISS member, AJ had posted on his personal Twitter account updating fans of his current condition, “After the heart surgery, I am in recovery.” Together with this message is an image of his arm which in intraveneous fluids. There were no other information regarding his surgery or health condition have been stated.

In addition, it seems to be that fellow U-KISS members did not know of AJ’s surgery. Soohyun made a reply to the Twitter post, “What is this, what’s wrong?” while Kevin answered, “I’ll be praying for a quick recovery! Don’t be sickㅠㅠ,” and Eli stated, “Jaeseop, be strong!”

It was just recently when news AJ had been reported in the middle of May through U-KISS’ agency, NH Media, shared that AJ would be continuing his studies at Columbia University in the US and will be having a temporary break from the group’s promotions, as there would be conflicts with his schedule.

It was also recently when there was news of a new member, Jun, joining the group in order to fill in the missing spot left by Dongho, who had left the group last year. Currently, U-KISS has been actively promoting their newest album “Mono Scandal.”
