The guys of JYJ were recently appointed as ambassadors of the World Water Forum.
On June 17, a representative from the committee of World Water Forum said, "We will invite JYJ(Kim Junsu, Kim Jae Jung, Park Yu Chun) to an event that will take place on June 19th, and appoint them as ambassadors of World Water Forum."
The World Water Forum is a major annual event hosted by the World Water Council. Next year's World Water Forum will be held at Daegu, South Korea on April.
As JYJ is undeniably one of the most prominent and well-known South Korean boy groups, they are expected to be very efficient on their part as ambassadors and advocates of promoting saving water resources around the world.
The committee representative said, "We decided to appoint JYJ as ambassadors because of the colossal influence that they have at all over the world."
The committee rep also added, "We will borrow JYJ's fame for various campaigns and events that will promote saving water."
The head of the committee also commented on JYJ's appointment, "We believe that JYJ will give us a lot of help in promoting next year's World Water Forum, and saving water."
An inauguration ceremony will be held on June 19th to officially appoint JYJ as ambassadors to the World Water Forum.
Meanwhile, JYJ has confirmed that they will be making a comeback this July with their first album in three years. Since their hiatus, the members have been pursuing individual projects. This July fans will see the boys reunite with a new album. C-JeS Entertainment has released an official teaser clip to further spike fans' excitement.
Furthermore, JYJ members Jaejoong and Yoochun has announced that they will be enlisting in the military after the complete their promotional activities for the group's impending comeback.
