2NE1's Park Bom Reported to have Attempted to Smuggled Drugs

The 2NE1 member seems to be caught in fire as she was reported to have trying to smuggle drugs to Korea

It has been repoert that 2NE1 member Park Bom had been caught attempting to smuggle drugs into Korea previously

A KBS news reported that according to prosecutors on June 30, Park Bom attempted to bring about 80 pills of amphetamines into Korea from the United States through international airmail on October 12 of 2010, and was found out by the Customs while passing through customs at Incheon International Airport. However, the reporte also stated that her case was suspended, as amphetamines can be given as a prescription in the United States, and there was an incident that of Park Bom being prescribed the drug while she was in the U.S.

Amphetamine is a strong central nervous system stimulants, which is sometimes used to treat conditions to disorders like attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or narcolepsy. While they are used for medicinal purposes, this drug can also have a risk of dependency when abused, and distribution of the drug is not allowed in Korea.

YG Entertainment stated that they are still investigating on this matter and will be releaseing a statement soon.

While the production representative of Park Bom's reality show, 'Roommate' stated, "We held an emergency meeting after the staff learned about Bom's news... We are currently sorting out our position on the matter... There is nothing that can be said at the moment. We are currently talking it over."
