2AM's Jinwoon Involved in Car Accident and Will Require Surgery

2AM's Jinwoon was unfortunately involved in a car accident in the evening of October 6, together with his manager and staff.

2AM's Jinwoon was recently involved in a terrible car accident and will be requiring an emergency surgical procedure for his injuries.

Big Hit Entertainment said that the car Jinwoon was in collided with a 25-ton truck at 11:30PM of October 6.

He obtained a fracture on his right ankle and also a laceration that is about 10cm (4 inches) long, thus requiring severe medical attention thereafter.

The accident occurred while Jinwoon was heading back to Seoul after an event. His manager and accompanying staff, who were also with Jinwoon in the same car, were injured and are currently receiving treatment together.

The group was immediately rushed to Samsung Medical Center in Seoul following the event.

As of now, no JYP Entertainment representative or a person close to Jinwoon has disclosed any information regarding developments in his medical operation or plans on handling his future activities.

This holiday season, Jinwoon together with his band 2AM will be holding a series of concerts for their 2013 2AM Concert-Nocturne. The concert will be held at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium from December 7-8. This would be 2AM's first stage performance together since their promotions for "One Spring Day" concluded in March.
