F(x) just recently made their group comeback with the hit track and album “Red Light”, from which the group received much hiatus following their year-long hiatus. However, it seems that f(x) will be turning on the “Red Light” for their promotional activities, making fans wonder why the end came so suddenly.
“Red Light” came out early this month on July 7, and the group consistently did well on the music charts, even bagging first place on music programs. However, it seems now that the decision to halt promotional activities stems from Sulli’s current illness which has been preventing her from joining the group on shows and other events.
Just recently, f(x)’s official homepage, which once showed their entire schedule, has been completely wiped out, raising curiosity and concern from fans. F(x) was also a no-show on “Show Champion’s” July 23 broadcast.
Most promotional cycles run for at least three to five weeks, and with f(x)’s success it came as a huge surprise that the ceasing of their activities came so suddenly. In recall, Sulli was even quoted as saying, "We always performed for a short time, but we want to try doing it for a while this time."
An SM Entertainment told TV Daily on July 24, "We are figuring out how f(x) promotions should continue or not and Sulli's current condition."
