Taeyang's Japanese solo debut album titled 'RISE + SOLAR & HOT' has been charted at #2 on the Oricon Chart.

According to Oricon on August 14, 'RISE + SOLAR & HOT' have a total of 41,090 copies sold just on its first day of release on August 13, charting at #2 on the Oricon Daily Album Chart.

Taeyang also began his first Japanese solo tour 'SOL JAPAN TOUR 2014' in Grand Cube Osaka (Osaka International Convention Center) on August 12-13 and is scheduled to have a total of 13 concerts in 6 cities across Japan.

Furthermore, Korean artists included in the chart are Donghae & Eunhyuk's 'SKELETON' ranked #4 on the Oricon Weekly Single Chart and Girls' Generation's 'THE BEST' ranked #5 on the Oricon Weekly Album Chart.
