G.O.D's Danny Ahn Accused of Asking Expensive Gifts from His Fans!

In the age of massive technology, a person can be accused of something unintentional and the issue grows bigger and bigger and even broader to the point that there are a lot of stories being added to it.

On September 29, G.O.D member, Danny Ahn showed that he also is a fan, hoping to have an LG Twins Baseball Club jacket saying in his SNS, "I wish I could have it..." And then on October 9, Danny posted to update his fans, "I finally got it. The baseball jacket. A fan went through the trouble of getting it and gave it to me as a gift! Now all that's left to do is to get the playoff tickets." The last statement implicated something different in the netizens, speculating that he was asking for tickets to the game.

On October 16, the day of the playoffs, Danny Ahn posted photos from the playoffs wherein the LG Twins played against the Doosan Bears. There were also photos of the jacket and the tickets, however there was nothing mentioned on how he got them, making people in the virtual world angry, thinking he again got it as a fan gift.

Angry netizens stated, "Are those tickets from a fan too?", "Is this how you ask fans for gifts?" and "I think he's trying to ask the fans to get him another gift," while kept his side saying, "I don't think that's what he was trying to say in his posts", "He's just acknowledging the fan that bought the jacket for him", "I think everyone is over-interpreting it" and "What if he's just an LG fan?"

The photos were deleted because of the reactions of the netizens, however, a lot of them were able to get a copy of the photos and have spread it online.

The agency of Danny has answered the issue via TV Report on October 20 stating, "Danny Ahn hasn't had the opportunity to address this issue or share his side of the story yet because he is in the countryside filming right now. He never intended to ask fans for gifts and simply uploaded those posts with a sincere heart. Danny Ahn has always been an LG Twins fan. Since it was difficult for him to get a hold of a LG Twins Baseball Club jacket, he expressed it online since they were starting their season this fall."

On the matter of deleting the said photos, his agency said, "He was taken by surprise and embarrassed by the negative reaction to the posts, so he decided to take them down. Once he wraps up filming, we plan to discuss the issue further with him."
