Chanyeol Admits Even the Members Had Difficulty Decoding The Riddles and Puzzles Behind "Pathcode"

EXO's Chanyeol revealed that even the group members are confused as to what the story or message behind their "Pathcode" promotions are.

You've all probably seen EXO's "Pathcode" promotional clips that are filled with mystery and thrill. But perhaps some of you are still stumped as to the messages behind teasers. EXO's Chanyeol revealed that even the group members are confused as to what the story or message behind their "Pathcode" promotions are.

At the press conference for the group's 2^nd full-length release EXODUS, Chanyeol said, "We've heard the explanations [about the videos], but I'm still not sure. I wasn't able to solve everything, but if the fans loved us, then I think it would be easier for us to solve the mystery. I was able to solve D.O's though."

In response to this, D.O said, "No matter how many times I watched, I can't solved Chanyeol's [puzzle]."

SM Entertainment began teasing fans by releasing individual teaser videos of each EXO members. Each teaser video is riddle with a mysterious storyline filled with clues and even powers. Some fans tried their best to solve the mystery behind each story, but also gave up out of frustration because of the difficulty of the puzzles.

Also during the press conference, Kai shared that several changes were made to the group's formation, perhaps because Kris and Luhan are no longer with the group. Kai also promised that their new music video will be very unique.

EXO will perform their comeback stage for "Pathcode" on Mnet's "M! Countdown" on April 2.
