The boys of ZE:A are under fire  due to accusations of receiving special treatment in the cyber university they currently endorse, which is said that they are earning school credits for classes they did not even attend.

According to the media outlet, News 8, The Board of Audit and Inspection of Korea (BAI) got a record that showing that the member/s gained 30 school credits by having 10 or more classes for 3 semesters. But BAI discovered that it wasn't the member/s going in the classes but the professor and assistant professor were the ones who were taking the classes for them.

The university is taken up online meaning that the classes are held through the internet and the students are the ones allowed to open the lecture making it an attendance. However, it's reported that the professor and assistant professor were the ones opening the lectures for the ZE:A member/s.

The news segment was trying to contact the school, but they said they did not know this matter and said, "It could be some kind of glitch with the system. It doesn't make sense that the professor would click in and take classes for them." It has also been reported that the professor is currently out of reach.

The BAI ordered that the members should be given F's since it is a regulation that a student must attend more than 3/4 of their lectures so that they would not fail class.

And because the issue had gotten bigger and bigger, Star Empire issued an official statement regarding the reports, stating that it was the school's decision to do this and the members no intentions of falsifications.

"ZE:A has never attended classes using illegal methods. We've already revealed to the BAI two months ago that the members have nothing to do with this. We only learned about this ourselves from the BAI's investigation... Thus, the 2010 grades received have been reissued as F's. It is a shame that the school has done such a thing without the student's permission. We are very sorry for causing concern."

The BAI is currently in the investigation of more cyber universities which are suspected to be exchanging school credits for money or endorsements from celebrities.
