Super Junior's Kangin will be coming back in acting for the big screen after five years.
He will star in movie "Cat Funeral" with the role of an indie musician named Dong Hoon. The movie is based on a popular webtoon which have been turned into a romantic and healing film. The story is about two separated lovers who meet for the first time in a year with the purpose of holding a funeral for the cat they had raised together. The story is said to cover one night and two days of their meeting.
The production crew stated, "The male lead, Dong Hoon, will definitely require delicate, emotional acting and eclectic charms that include guitar playing and singing skills. We cast Kangin because of his pureness as well as his gaze that portrays both sadness and conviction."
"Cat Funeral" will begin filming in the middle of November and it will be out in cinemas at around the half of next year.
