Girls’ Generation member Im YoonA is returning to primetime TV with her upcoming drama series “Prime Minister and I”. To support the singer-actress, Chinese soshi cooked up unique way of endorsing the drama in such a way that it will hard to ignore.
Posters of “Prime Minister and I” which features YoonA’s character are plastered on supermarket trolleys. The photos of the said phenomenon were uploaded on an online community and recently gained interest. Sources say Chinese fans prepared all this in preparation for the big TV premiere of “Prime Minister and I”.
The said revamped pushcarts can be seen in Seongsu, Cheonggyecheon and Yeongdeungpo E-mart stores in Seoul. These hypermart outlets are said to cater to a huge population of customers.
YoonA place clumsy reporter Nam Da Jung who later on becomes the new wife of Prime Minister Kwon Yul, played by Lee Bum Soo, in “Prime Minister and I”.
The drama series premiered yesterday, December 9, on KBS 2TV. It will be shown every Monday-Tuesday at 10:00PM KST.
