AGB Nielsen Korea released the recent TV statistics for the Monday-Tuesday drama series line up and the results shows that "Empress Ki's" reign has continued.
"Empress Ki" achieved a nationwide rating of 18.8% for its December 17 episode. The figure remains consistent with its rating for December 16.
Despite having secured the top spot for yet another week, "Empress Ki" saw a dip in ratings compared with last week's Monday and Tuesday episodes which acquired ratings of 20.2% and 19.5% respectively.
Newcomer "Prime Minister and I" showed promising ratings although not enough to overthrow "Empress Ki". It scored 6.5 for it Tuesday rating, a huge dip from its 7.3% rating on Monday. Nevertheless, it showed some development from "Prime Minister and I" which only garnered 5.9% and 5.4% on its debut week.
SBS's heart-tugging "Kind Words" reclaimed its place in second with an 8.5% rating on Tuesday, a big leap from its 6.8% rating on Monday.
The race for second is surely heating up between "Kind Words" and "Prime Minister and I" while "Empress Ki" never falters from number 1.
