SG Wannabe, Big Bang, and Davichi Top List Of Most Hits In The Past Decade`

MelOn recently released its Top 100 yearly charts based on monthly downloads and streaming counts from 2004 to December 2013. The list will determine which artists made the most chart-topping songs in the digital music market over the past decade.

MelOn recently released its Top 100 yearly charts based on monthly downloads and streaming counts from 2004 to December 2013. The list will determine which artists made the most chart-topping songs in the digital music market over the past decade.

SG Wannabe ranked first 24 hit songs on the list, which include their collaborations with Kim Jong Kook, Brown Eyed Girls, and KCM. Big Bang ranked second with 22 songs, all of which were purely Big Bang’s and did not feature other artists.

Davichi came in third place with 18 hit songs. 2NE1 placed fourth with 16 hit songs.

Fifth place was a tie among five artists including Brown Eyed Girls, SeeYa, Lee Seung Gi, MC Mong, and Busker Busker. It is definitely amazing to see rookie acts such as Busker Busker and SeeYa score so high in the charts, especially when compared to older acts who’ve had more time to develop hits.

Other artists who were listed include Girls’ Generation, T-ara, Baek Ji Young, and more.
