With fans wondering what would be next for the three remaining members of KARA once Nicole Jung and Kang Jiyoung take their final bow, DSP Media has issued a statement revealing their future plans for KARA to reassure Kamilias that the group is here to stay.
In a phone interview with "Entertainment Relay", a representative of DSP Media said, "For the first half of the year, the girls will concentrate on their individual activities. They will return to meet fans with a new album in the latter half."
As for any plans to recruit replacements for Nicole and Jiyoung, the rep said, "Nothing has been discussed regarding that matter."
As of current, Nicole is officially a free agent as her contract with DSP Media has naturally expired. Sources say Nicole is preparing to leave for the US where she will be immersing in vocal and dance classes. The group's youngest, Jiyoung, still has a few more months to think over her re-contracting before hers expires in April.
The agency has announced earlier that KARA will undergo a re-organization, putting more focus on Gyuri, Seungyeon, and Hara in future activities
