Actor Lee Min Ho is indeed an international star, as he will be appearing in one of CCTV's 'Spring Festival Gala.'
The annual Spring Festival Gala which is hosted by China Central Television has become an important part of the Chinese Lunar New Year celebration since 1983, when it was first televised live at home and abroad.
Lee Min Ho's agency, Starhaus Entertainment said, "Lee Min Ho will appear on the show and sing the 'Boys Over Flowers' theme song 'A Last Resort' in Korean. It's the first time a Korean is appearing on the show, as a singer or an actor."
This will also be the first time that Korean is being broadcast on China's CCTV. CCTV's 'Spring Festival Gala' is the highest-rated show for the Spring Festival. In its 2012 broadcast, it held the Guinness record for the highest TV rating ever, with over 70% of China's viewers watched the show.
