Despite its high ratings and rave reviews, SBS drama series “You Who Came From Stars” shows no plans of extending the series beyond the initially planned 20 episodes.
Following the original schedule, the finale of “You Who Came From The Stars” will air on February 20 and will be followed by the drama “Three Days”, which will premiere on February 26. “You Who Came From The Stars” consistently exceeded ratings above 20% week after week, so it was natural for fans to assume that the drama would be extended.
However, the current decision from the production team is to have the drama wrap up as it should. This is due in part to the intense packed schedules for filming. The actors and the entire crew are also feeling pressured to put on a good show week after week. With this tiresome routine, it would be less likely to have the drama extended.
A representative from one of the actor’s said, “Right now, the actors are sleeping between takes. Even if there is a request to extend the drama, it would be difficult to accept. Everyone else is hoping for the drama to end with 20 episodes as planned.”
