SM the Ballad Releases 'Breath' and Tops the Charts after Release!

The project group of SM Entertainment returns and achieves the top spot after release of single SM The Ballad has been well-prepared with the release of their new single “Breath”.

SM The Ballad has been well-prepared with the release of their new single “Breath”.

On the midnight of February 10 KST, SM Entertainment has released “Breath” that was sung by Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and SHINee’s Jonghyun on Korean music sites. The song has been seen on the top of various online music charts just right after its release.

“Breath” has gotten number one spot on Bugs, Genie, Olleh Music, and other online music sites which beated Idina Menzel’s “Let It Go”, the OST of animation “Frozen”.

The song “Breath” is a story of a man and woman’s feelings after a break up. Meanwhile, the Japanese version of the song is from TVXQ’s Changmin and f(x)’s Krystal has already been on sale on iTunes Japan.

Promotions are set to start this week with a duet performance of “Breath” by SHINee’s Jonghyun and Girls’ Generation Taeyeon on Mnet’s “M!Countdown” on February 13.
