Like most idols, KARA member Han Seungyeon has made the transition from singer to actress in the SBS Plus mini series "Women, Comics, and Shoes". At the recent press conference for the drama, held at the Sapphire Ballroom in Lotte Hotel World, Seungyeon shared what it feels like for an idol to take on the whole new world of acting.
"I think one of the advantages of being an idol-actor is that you've already got a lot of experience standing in front of multiple cameras, so it's easier to adapt to that setting. There are many things about idol acting that could be identified as an disadvantage, but that most burdensome of it all is receiving feedback," Seungyeon said.
She continued, "But because [I'm pressured to get positive reviews] I try to work harder than ever... I've put my heart and soul into everything. I hope people will view my acting in a positive light."
"Women, Comics, and Shoes" will premiere on February 24 on SBS Plus and will run with 10 episodes. It will also star Hong Jong Hyun, Jung Ga Eun, and Yoon Jong Hoon.
