Girls Generation's Seohyun, Knowledgeable As A Rookie Actress, Producer Says

Producer, Bae Tae Sub 'Passionate Love' shares his thoughts on why Seohyun was a part of the drama.

There has been a lot of high about SBS' "Passionate Love" especially because Girls' Generation's Seohyun has got the role in the new weekend drama.

Bae Tae Sub, the producer of the drama, recently publicized some of his thoughts on Seohyun as an actress. He explained that he picked to cast her because she was going to school for theatre and she had the basic skills down. 

He said that he is not familiar with the nine members of Girls Generation but he chose Seohyun because he thinks she suits the role of Han Yoo Rim well.

Regarding to her acting, the producer stated that it is understandable to see Seohyun make minor mistakes in the set.  However, her knowledge and soulfulness of the character surpasses those of a rookie actress.

This will be Seohyun's first drama; however, she already has appeared on television for the reality show, We Got Married, together with CN Blue's vocalist, Jung Yonghwa. She also has been an MC for MBC Music Core with co-members, Taeyeon and Tiffany. She also graced as an MC for 2012 Gayo Daejun together with Lee Joon, Boom and Lee Hwijae.

Check out if Seohyun really is an effective actress by playing Han Yoo Rim on "Passionate Love," which will air on September 28.
