Internationally renowned star Jackie Chan will make his official expansion into the K-pop industry by launching his first ever male idol group called JJCC or Double JC.
Sources say JJCC will comprise four Korean members, all males in their twenties and averaging at 180cm in height. Reps say Jackie Chan personally participate in the recruitment process of the members until the production of their debut album.
The group will debut under Jackie Chan Group Korea, and a representative from the company said, "JJCC will amaze the world with its different music and charm that has never existed before."
In addition, the representative said that the group will first concentrate on activities in South Korea before making their debut in other countries in Asia. With this, the group is expected to make their entry on March.
Furthermore, JJCC's leader will be Oh Jong Seok, who appeared on the cookie reality show "Master Chef Korea".
