Akdong Musician Excites Fans About Their Music At Recent Debut Showcase

Akdong Musician performed for 5,000 fans at their recent debut showcase. Akdong Musician Recently had an outdoor showcase to debut their first official album “Play”.

Akdong Musician Recently had an outdoor showcase to debut their first official album “Play”. The show was attended by 5,000 lucky fans who became the first ones to listen to the duo’s music.

The sibling duo performed 9 out of 11 tracks from their debut album, “PLAY”, including “Give Love”, “200%”, “Melted”, “At the Subway”, and more. Akdong Musician, however, did not perform “Subject” and “Galaxy” yet as they were planning to reserve this until the official album release.

Akdong Musician said, "It has really been a long time. It's so exciting to stand on stage... We really thought a lot about it. We thought about it for half-a-year and we mixed in our original color and hidden sides... We hope that you have a lot of interest in our album."

Akdong Musician will kick off their debut with three title tracks namely "200%", "Melted", and the third track will be determined by fans through an online poll.

Akdong Musician’s showcase was held at Seongsudong, Seoul on April 5 at 3 PM KST. The duo will have their debut stage on today’s episode of “K-Pop Star 3” and their album, “Play”, will be released this April 7.
