'Pretty Man' Jang Geun Suk Makes 1,300 Japanese Fans Happy With a Unique Fan Gathering

Actor, model and singer, Jang Geun Suk held an overnight fan meeting for 1,300 of his Japanese followers.

The fan meeting, "Lotte Duty Free Jang Geun Suk In Star Avenue 2nd Camp," which was a unique gathering since all of them stayed 2 days and 1 night which was held at Phoenix Park in Gangwondo on September 29-30.

The unique fan gathering was full with fan service events, such as dinner, cocktail party, music talk, and mini concert with the actor and singer. During the mini concert event, Jang Geun Suk showcased five songs from his second Japanese album, including "Nature Boy" and "Indian Summer."

Jang Geun Suk also held a toast with his fans and had a question-and-answer event. The singer also gave gifts to his fans to how his gratitude to them.

Jang Geun Suk debuted as an actor when he was a child in 1997 for the sitcom, "Selling Happiness." He showed his singing skills when he starred for the music-themed film, "Happy Life."

He released his first single, "Let Me Cry," was released by Pony Canyon in Japan on April 27, 2011. The said song debuted at number 1 on Japan's Oricon single charts, selling 119,149 copies on its first week of release, making him the first non-Japanese act to have the debut single to debut at number 1 on the charts. This made him get the "Best New Artist" in the 26th Japan Gold Disc Awards, which was held last January 2012.

Jang Geun Suk will be starring on KBS for the drama, "Pretty Man" which will air this November.
