Jo Kwon, Mir, and More: Celebs Express Excitement Over g.o.d's Comeback

New generation idols expressed their excitement through SNS over veteran group g.o.d's highly-anticipated comeback.

New generation idols expressed their excitement through SNS over veteran group g.o.d's highly-anticipated comeback. G.o.d. marked their return with the release of the track "The Lone Duckling" earlier yesterday.

2AM's Jo Kwon was one of the many stars who are thrilled by the news on g.o.d's full group comeback. On May 8, Jo Kwon wrote on Twitter, "g.o.d ‘The Lone Duckling'. I remember the old times. I really like it. I think everyone would feel the same way! The memory of listening through a CD player at the time. I am really a huge fan of g.o.d."

g.o.d's "The Lone Duckling" is described as reminiscent of the group's old, signature ballad tracks such as "Lie" and "Road". The song also greatly accentuates all five members' vocals and rapping skills.

MBLAQ's maknae Mir also showed his being a fan of g.o.d through a post he made on May 7. "I'm nervous...nervous...Celebrity cosplay fan g.o.d is here," Mir said, and along with it attached a photo of g.o.d's 15th anniversary celebratory concert scheduled. g.o.d member Park Joon Hyung responded to Mir's post, saying, "Don't be nervous, Mir. I'm here. I will hold your hand." At this, Mir replied, "Hyung, I am going over your song." Later on, he expressed his reaction to the heartbreaking lyrics of "The Lone Duckling".

In recall, when Mir first heard about g.o.d's comeback last year, he told Park Joon Hyung, "If you have a concert, I'm going to go even if I have to stand! Hold my hand."

2PM's Taecyeon also posted a photo on Twitter of him listening to "The Lone Duckling. NS Yoon-G also shared that he was on the verge of tears while listening to the song.

g.o.d will return as a complete group of five in celebration of their 15th comeback. The famed first generation boy group will release a new album in June as well as hold a concert series.
