Girl's Day's Minah Opens Up About Her Birthday and Getting Older

Girl's Day member Minah shared her thought on birthday celebrations and getting older. Girl's Day's Minah just turned 21 today! The singer, born on May 13, 1993, also had a special interview with Kyungjae News in relation to her 21st birthday.

Girl's Day's Minah just turned 21 today! The singer, born on May 13, 1993, also had a special interview with Kyungjae News in relation to her 21^st birthday.

Minah revealed that she did not particular plan anything for her birthday, but the most irritating thing she usually heard on her birthday was "Treat us!" since she prefers spending some alone time for her big day. She'd rather prefer hearing people genuinely say, "Happy birthday!"

Minah then revealed her thoughts on her birthday, "For my birthday this year, I first felt a sudden surge of responsibility and thought I should become more mature." As to the concept of getting older, Minah shared, "Maybe it's because I'm still young, but I don't have definite feelings in relation to ageing."

However, the baby-faced singer revealed that the age she's looking forward to the most is thirty. She explained, "I think I'd be at my prettiest then.  I think my maturity both mentally and physically would be the loveliest at that time."

She was also asked which particular birthday was most memorable for her and she shared that it was the birthday she spent with Girl's Day and the fans for their "Twinkle Twinkle" promotions. Fans thoughtfully rented an entire café and served traditional seaweed soup for her. She said she was very touched by the fans' gift!

Birthdays most often equate to presents, and so to receiving presents, Minah said, "It's nice to receive presents, too, but I wonder how it would be if I suddenly gave a present to someone else on my birthday.  Especially to my parents!  Or I want to buy myself a ticket to Europe for a vacation."
