Chrome Entertainment Introduces New Girl Rookies Bob Girls

Bob Girls will be launched as Crayon Pop's "sister group". Somehow, it seems that Chrome Entertainment has found the secret formula to launching girl groups that will stick into people's minds.

Somehow, it seems that Chrome Entertainment has found the secret formula to launching girl groups that will stick into people's minds. Just recently, the talent agency that brought us the lovable girls of Crayon Pop has announced that they will be introducing another girl group. This new group will be introduced as Crayon Pop's "sister group", and will possess equal cuteness and talent.  The quadruplet is named Bob Girls and is starting to receive a lot of attention.

On May 21, Chrome Entertainment revealed the faces of the four members of Bob Girls. A representative of Chrome Entertainment said, "We are proud to reveal the second all-female group of Chrome Entertainment -the Bob Girls. They are now working on their debut which will take place next month (June)."

While Crayon Pop made a huge buzz with their uniform helmets and tracksuits, it seems that Bob Girls will be spiking interest for their bob haircuts (hence the name). All four members are rocking short do's, representing the image Chrome Entertainment is aiming for. A representative from the agency said, "The short 'bob' hair is not just a mere concept, but we would like to showcase the 'metamorphosis' a woman experiences when she cuts her hair short. The transformations will also serve as an instrument for them to show their really unique personalities with their short, bob hairstyles."

So yes, we now have a girl group that has a name inspired by the members' short hair. Based on their debut photo, it looks like the group will be sporting a sexier concept and charm, quite different to that of the bubbly and bright Crayon Pop. The contrast will definitely make Chrome Entertainment's roster of talents seem more interesting, including the addition of boy group K-Much which has reportedly showed their support to Bob Girls as well.

Bob Girls is composed of Danbi, Dahye, Gina, and Yoojung. Watch out for their debut this June!
