In the previous episodes of SBS' variety show "Roommate", 2NE1's Park Bom and After School's Nana have been making a lot of buzz due to their blossoming friendship.
In a recent interview, the show's producer, Park Sang Hyuk, talked about the closeness between Park Bom and Nana. If asked if they are truly close even behind the scenes, producer Park Sang Hyuk said, "Park Bom and Nana's relationship was the most unexpected. Right now, they got a lot closer. To tell the truth, after my first impression of the two, I thought that they might not get along to the very end. However, they surprisingly get along so well to the point you could view them as the best of friends."
He added, "Nana seemed like a city slicker, so I was expecting her to play the trouble maker role. However, to my surprise, she had strong consideration for others. I wonder if that's how the two became close quickly."
On the May 11 episode of "Roommate", Nana and Park Bom's first encounter was rather awkward, but they immediately turned the tables around and developed a tight relationship as the episodes carried on. They were oftentimes seen singing and dancing together and sharing unique talking patterns.
Nana was even quoted saying, "I match well with Bom unni. I think she's not really normal like me. I honestly think I'm not that normal."
SBS even released BTS clips from "Roommate" featuring Nana and Park Bom. The photos were captioned, "Onto the friendly set of 'Roommate,' which shows best friends regardless of age."
"Roommate" has shown surprising twists and turns in terms of the bonds that are developing in the share house. Unfortunately, despite this, "Roommate" is sinking in terms of Sunday variety TV ratings. "Roommate" is still trailing behind "Superman is Back" and "Dad, Where Are You Going?"
