Heechul Reveals He Knew About Park Bom Incident Four Years Ago Plus Steps Down From 'Sseul Jeon'!

The Super Junior member states he knew the incident four years ago. On the July 17 episode of JTBC's 'Ssul Jeon', the hosts talked about Park Bom's controversy, which was revealed by media outlet Segye Ilbo to have attempted to illegally bring in amphetamines into South Korea from the United States back in 2010, however was not tried under a court of law.

On the July 17 episode of JTBC's 'Ssul Jeon', the hosts talked about Park Bom's controversy, which was revealed by media outlet Segye Ilbo to have attempted to illegally bring in amphetamines into South Korea from the United States back in 2010, however was not tried under a court of law. Though the news went out this year, Heechul stated that he had first heard about it around the time it actually happened.

Heechul said, "Celebrities hear about rumors like this very early on. I was drinking with some reporters [four years ago] at a bar when this topic had came up. The reporters said, 'YG is going to burst soon,' but the report didn't even come out in the end. I thought, 'This is why reporters get so much criticism,' and thought it was just a false rumor, but the report came out recently."

However, the question still is that why did it come out four years after the incident occurred? Moreover, netizens are suggesting Park Bom to step down from her variety program 'Roommate' due to the amphetamine issue also a cursing scandal, a leaked out portion during the Park Min Woo driving scene, Heechul will be stepping down from his post in 'Ssul Jeon' by personal choice. He said his goodbye message on the show, which explained that it was too hard for him to talk about his close friends and that he would be getting in and out of the country since Super Junior will be soon coming back.
