The long wait is over! Super Junior's leader Leeteuk has been discharged from his military duties. Although many fans are looking forward to this day, no special ceremony of sorts was held to welcome him back.
On July 25, SM Entertainment released an official statement announcing Leeteuk's quiet discharge from the army, "We are making this announcement in regard to the press coverage at the scene of Leeteuk's discharge. It was Leeteuk's plans to be discharged without doing any interviews or holding any special event with fans. With this, we respected his decision to return quietly."
Leeteuk enlisted in the military on October 30, 2012. This year, Leeteuk even went through a heartbreaking time following the death of his father and grandparents.
In the meantime, Super Junior, together with Leeteuk, is preparing for their much-awaited group comeback and promotions.
Welcome back, Leeteuk!
