The sudden death of Rottyful Sky also known as Kim Ha Neul has made of condolences among many celebrities. One of them was BIGBANG's Taeyang, and it has been confirmed he and Rottyful Sky are not related to each other.

On October 9, a representative of YG Entertainment said in a press interview, "The deceased Rottyful Sky had close friendship with Taeyang and his brother, Dong Hyun Bae. However, they are not cousins," and added, "Their parents have a close relationship."

After receiving news about Rottyful Sky's death, Taeyang uttered his condolences on his Twitter saying, "I'm sorry, Ha Neul." Likewise, Taeyang's older brother and actor, Dong Hyun Bae posted on Twitter, "Haneul, we had such a fun conversation on Chuseok. I don't know what to feel right now. I'm sorry I couldn't call you more often. I will cherish your bright smile. I'm sure you went through much struggle. I hope you will be happy in heaven singing your songs."

Rottyful Sky passed away on October 8 after struggling against a brain tumour. It was also revealed that her last work was with Kahi's song, "It's Me," which included in the new solo album of the singer.
