More details of the tragic accident that caused Ladies' Code EunB to pass away and members Sojung and Rise to be in critical condition was revealed by the group's management, Polaris Entertainment.
A representative of the agency told Star Today on September 4, “Ladies’ Code’s vehicle was driven for the first time that day. We are extremely upset that this accident occurred on the first use of the new vehicle from a rental car company that was used to replace the existing management vehicle, which had been experiencing problems.”
Also, according to the agency, Mr. Park, who was the driver of the van was an experienced road manager who has been an employee of Polaris Entertainment for many years. The representative of the agency stated, “During his continuous activities as a road manager, he has not experienced any particular accidents.”
As stated on the official statement of Polaris Entertainment, the van transporting Ladies’ Code had one of its rear wheels lost before it turned around a lot of times and crashed on the barrier.
The National Institute of Scientific Investigation is in further investigating the incident as van involved in the accident is being examined. Also, reports have said that there were no CCTVs or vehicles passing the place of accident at that time, which is making a delay in the investigation.
