SHINee's Jonghyun recently got into trouble for his "inappropriate" behavior at the recent episode of MBC's "Infinity Challenge". While the singer and the other guests on the show seemed to be having a blast, some viewers frowned upon his quips and behavior.
After receiving criticism, Jonghyun took to Twitter and apologized for his behavior. The singer said, "I received a lot of criticism after the 'Infinity Challenge' episode aired. I am very close with Haha, and I got overly excited and happy about being able to work with him. However, I ended up making people dislike my behavior on the show. I apologize to all the viewers of 'Infinity Challenge' as well my 'Blue Night' family. I apologize to Haha as well." He also encouraged fans to keep on listening to the special broadcast of "Blue Night".
On the September 13 radio DJ special of "Infinity Challenge", each of the cast had to bring a guest DJ on the show. Haha met up with Jonghyun for his radio show "Blue Night".
Shortly after Jonghyun posted his apology, Haha also posted on Twitter to apologize in behalf of his friend. On September 14, Haha tweeted to clarify the misunderstanding between the viewers and what was portrayed on the program by Jonghyun. Haha confirmed that he and Jonghyun are indeed close, and that their behavior on the show was purely for entertainment purposes. They did not intend to make everyone uncomfortable after watching the show. "Guys, please show Jonghyun some love," Haha said in support for his friend.
