IU Receives Kudos From Veteran Singer, Choi Baek Ho in the Program 'Yoo Hee Yeol Sketchbook'

The nation's little sister, receives a prestigious comment from one of the veteran singers in Korea.

The 'nation's little sister,' IU appeared on KBS 2TV's "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" on October 11 to promote her third album titled, "Modern Times."

But, it seems she wasn't the only one to guest the show. One of the artists, Choi Baek Ho, who was featured in IU's album made a surprise guesting.  IU stated that her father used to sing Choi Baek Ho's "Against Romance" in the karaoke for lots of times.  She stated, "I thought the song was the most charismatic song in the world.  I also sang it often in concerts."

Choi Baek Ho said, he and IU first met while backstage for the special 100th episode of "Sketchbook."  She came near him asking for his signature that she could give to her father.

To sum up, Choi Baek Ho stated, "This is only the start.  She is a talented person," which he referred to IU

On "Sketchbook," IU also mentioned on how the host,Yoo Hee Yeol was in her music video for one of her songs which was titled, "The Red Shoes."  And to thank Yoo Hee Yeol, IU gave him a pair of skinny red pants, which he wore for the music video.
