Girls' Generation's Sooyoung never hesitated on her thoughts on Jessica's incident as she expressed her apology on the program "Midnight TV Entertainment."
Regarding on the news that Jessica left Girls' Generation, Sooyoung expressed, "I'm distressed and apologetic to have to suddenly relay this news."
Yoon Do Hyun then replied, "Your heart must be heavy, but I hope your members use this time to gather together and turn a misfortune into a blessing."
Sooyoung then said, "I am so sorry and grieved that such an incident happened so suddenly. We will work hard for those who love and support us. Please continue to watch over us. I am sorry."
It was just recently when the news regarding Girls' Generation and Jessica hit the limelight as Jessica had posted on her Weibo account about her being drived out of the group before thier fan meeting in Shanghai. SM Entertainment then confirmed reports that Jessica would no longer be included in Girls' Generation and that the group will carry on its activities with 8 members.
Insiders have speculated that it might be because of rumours of Jessica and CEO Tyler Kwon dating, which have been denied by both sides. However, it was revealed that due to the pursuance of Jessica's designing career and the launch of her sunglasses line, BLANC (which is now rebranded to BLANC and ECLARE), she had been dropped out of the group.
