Seo In Guk Tells What it is Like to Star in His First History Drama, "The King's Face"

Seo In Guk has been loved for his cute and sweet portrayals in the dramas "Reply 1997" and High School King of Savvy. He has been recently casted in the upcoming Wednesday and Thursday historic drama on KBS, titled, "The King's Face," which will be his first.

In this drama, Seo In Guk will star as Prince Gwang Hae, the prince of Joseon who has the most dramatic life and the story will focus on his ups and downs in life.

Seo In Guk shared, "The character of Gwang Hae has been portrayed very well by many senior actors so while I am glad to take on this role, I also feel some pressure." Though this drama will be his first historic drama, he said, "I’ll work hard on acting and show you Seo In Guk’s own Gwang Hae."

Also a much anticipated moment in this drama is how Seo In Guk and actor Lee Sung Jae, who he has previously worked with in the "Rascal Sons," will both have a love interest with Kim Ga Hee, who will be played by Jo Yoon Hee.

Seo In Guk talks about his co-star Lee Sung Jae, "I gain even more strength in knowing that I will be acting in my second project with Lee Sung Jae sunbae-nim whom I have always been friendly with."

"The King's Face" will air after the KBS drama, "Blade Man."

“The King’s Face” is slated to premiere following the completion of “Blade Man.”
