Epik High Says YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk Didn't Let Them Use YG Studios for Recording

Epik High couldn't use YG Studios On the recent broadcast of MBC FM4U show, "Sunny’s FM Date," with featured guest, Epik High. It seems that the group was unable to use YG Studios for their recording.

On the recent broadcast of MBC FM4U show, "Sunny’s FM Date," with featured guest, Epik High.  It seems that the group was unable to use YG Studios for their recording.

As DJ Sunny made an introduction, she mentioned that Epik High is "free from its company."

Sunny then asked them, "I heard that Yang Hyun Suk doesn’t touch the three (of you) at all, is it true?" Making Tukutz respond,  "He absolutely doesn’t have any skinship (with us.) He tried to shake our hands once (though)." He then added, We tried to book a recording studio in YG but suddenly, from one moment, the engineers didn’t let us use (the studio) and kept on giving us different schedule excuses. At first, we got really angry and complained, asking ‘Why is it like this’."

Tukutz went on, "Later on, we knew through an exchange of opinions with YG artists that President Yang Hyun Suk was afraid that Epik High’s musical color might be messed up. That’s why they decided that we (Epik High) should not get to record in the YG studios."

Epik High has been topping the charts with their comeback, "Shoebox." This is their 8th album after two years.
