Super Junior and EXO, What do they have in common?

Checking out the similarities of the two SM male groups. SM Entertainment's male groups, Super Junior and EXO seem to have a lot in common. Sometimes, the two groups have already been criticized to be the carbon copy of each other.

SM Entertainment's male groups, Super Junior and EXO seem to have a lot in common.  Sometimes, the two groups have already been criticized to be the carbon copy of each other.

Let us see the similarities of the two groups:

1.       Consists of 10 members and above - Super Junior debuted with a 13 members, while EXO has 12 members in the group.

2.       They have been broken down into subgroups - for Super Junior, they have Super Junior-M for their Mandarin group, EXO also has EXO-M however; in Super Junior's case, they have Henry and Zhou Mi, who aren't included in the original group.

3.       They are greatly loved by their fans - Super Junior has always been loved by ELFs, who go to every concert the boys have. International ELFs reaches millions when we sum up all audiences that attend Super Junior's concerts in and out of Korea. While EXO proves to have a great fan base since their current album, "XOXO" will be reaching in one million mark in sales.

4.       The two groups get to make it number one in music charts - No wonder the two groups have showed that they are hot by topping charts in Korea and overseas.

As we break their similarities down, does it mean that EXO is just like Super Junior wholly? Somehow, the guys have differences in their taste in music and fashion. Super Junior has proved to be a K-pop icon because of the list of awards the group has received, while EXO has been making a name for themselves as well, especially if they hit their one million sales target before the year ends.
