SBS' music contest, "K-pop Star 3" had its first filming on October 21. New judge, Yoo Hee Yeol seems to have accustomed to the show very well.
A representative has revealed, "Although Yoo Hee Yeol joined as a new MC, there was no sign of awkwardness. With his witty charms, as seen on 'Infinity Challenge', he didn't seem fazed by the other judges and completed the recording well."
The show's representative also mentioned on what the viewers can expect when it comes to the new season, "There are a lot of exceptionally talented contestants this season, so all three judges are having a difficult time. When a contestant with a unique color would perform, the judges seemed divided in opinion. Although there was no conflict while they were judging compared to the previous seasons, there were more cases of the judges being divided in opinion. The different judge panel now has more variety."
Yoo Hee Yeol replaced the "queen of K-pop," BoA in the judging panel. BoA dropped out of the show because of her busy schedule.
Yoo Hee Yeol is a singer and a songwriter and one of the founders of Antenna Music, an indie record label.
