Idol group EXID tackled some very important matters about their future as a group during their appearance on the May 11 broadcast of Mnet's "Yaman TV". In this episode, never before seen clips from past interviews were featured on the program, showing how the younger version of EXID talked humbly about their victories and looking forward to their future triumphs.
The girls talked about their long 1 year and a half hiatus and how uneasy it made them feel. Junghwa opened up, "I felt very worried [at the time]. When I searched [our group] online, I only saw reports about EXID disbandment rumors and other comments about how we've just disappeared. It made me really sad."
MC Mino the commented that if he were in EXID's place now he would feel all the more scared due to the fact that their recent rise to popularity might just switch off suddenly. Hani agreed on this, saying, "Although we always placed first on music shows, I felt as though those first place wins weren't entirely ours. I think I would be happy if we won first place for our next album, but I'm not thinking about that right now."
Looks like Hani's wish has come true as EXID's latest track "Ah Yeah" has won first place in various music shows and is doing very well on the charts. With their sexy charms and bubbly personality, EXID has earned a growing following and there is now renewed interest in the group locally and globally. For now, EXID is rest assured that they've earned their place in the limelight and they're here to stay.
