Look who's staging another massive takeover? Big Bang member Taeyang is headlining premiere music charts just a few hours after the release of his comeback title track "Ringa Linga".
Taeyang surprised a lot of fans by releasing his second album "Ringa Linga" into major music websites in Korea at 12 midnight on November 8, which was earlier than expected. Immediately after, "Ringa Linga" hit number one on the charts and still maintains its position up to now.
Aside from Korea, "Ringa Linga" is also gaining a rising momentum in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Macao where he secured the number 1 seat in the respective countries' iTunes charts.
Locally, Taeyang is taking over charts in Olleh, Naver Music, Bugs, Soribada, Mnet, Cyworld Music, and Genie.
"Ringa Linga" is Taeyang first music project since he released "Solar" three years ago. The hip-hop song was penned by his band mate G-Dragon together with Ricky Luna.
A dance video of "Ringa Linga" was also released prior to the official track. It featured Taeyang in all his dancing glory, showing off a creative set of choreography.
The official music video for "Ringa Linga" will be released on November 9 at midnight. Stay tuned VIPs!
