Finally, we've got some good news on a possible new Rain release.
According to various music insiders, the 31-year-old singer is planning to have a comeback early next year. Reports say he is currently working in the studio to get his album ready for an early 2014 release. Some sources confirmed this and said he's been hard at work at a studio in Cheongdamdong.
One insider said, "He already finished recording about 6 songs. He has a few songs he composed himself. As for the concept, he's thinking about whether to come back as Rain's usual image, or a completely new image since his discharge from the army."
Another source commented, "He's getting ready for his comeback, and looking for artists to feature [in his album]. There are many artists scheduled to make a comeback in January next year, but Rain's new album will be the first since his discharge [from the military], thus it's become the most anticipated album and the most focused-on by popular music insiders."
"It could be a big-scale comeback that fits his career. But he's focusing on making his musical strength bigger," another insider said.
Are you guys ready for a massive Rain comeback to welcome the New Year?
