Female solo singer Ailee got into an accident while filming for her upcoming music video that left her with a foot injury.
According to YMC Entertainment, Ailee fractured her toe and the top side of her foot while filming on September 7. A radiator used as a prop apparently fell on the singer's foot, causing the injury. She was taken to the hospital immediately where she received emergency surgery and additional treatment.
"[The doctor advised her] to rest for 4 weeks. Her recovery and treatment is our utmost prior so we are discussing a change in her comeback schedule," the agency said.
However, it turns out that all systems are go for Ailee and the preparations for her October comeback. In an official statement via Twitter, YMC Entertainment announced that Aileewants to push through with her comeback so her schedule will proceed as planned.
YMC Entertainment said, "Firstly, we apologize for making everyone worry about Ailee's injury. Secondly, Ailee expressed her intention to keep her promise to all of you, so she will keep going with her comeback preparations despite her injury.
However, some activities will have to be cancelled. Nevertheless, we will push through with her comeback and full-album release this September 30.
For now she will receive treatment for her injury so that she can make a hundred percent recovery in a short span of time. Please continue to show her your support so that she may make a speedy recovery."
