Super Junior's Eunhyuk, Siwon, Kyuhyun, and Kanging Talks About Their Rise to Fame and the Hallyu Wave In a Lecture At Oxford University

The boys of Super Junior were recently at Oxford University to talk to students about the cultural importance of Hallyu wave and how Super Junior, as a group, climbed their way to success and how they managed to keep it.

After their successful "Super Show 5 in London", Super Junior headed to England's prestigious Oxford University to hold a special lecture.

The group, comprised of Eunhyuk, Siwon, Kyuhyun, and Kangin, were invited by Oxford's Asian Pacific Association and the Korean Student Council to give a lecture at the Oxford Union Debating Centre, which was attended by 400 university students.

The internationally renowned super boy group talked about their rise to national and international success. They also took the audience behind the scene to what goes on behind the creation of an album, and showed several highlight videos of Super Junior's annual world tour "Super Show". The attending members of Super Junior also gave their thoughts on K-pop and the Hallyu Wave.

Part of the program was a special question and answer portion where students interacted with the boys of Super Junior through thought-provoking questions regarding the rise and expansion of Korea culture through the Hallyu wave.

What's more, the audience even experienced a first-hand training session of Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry" dance with the members themselves.

As for the speaking opportunity granted to them by Oxford University, the Super Junior members said, "We are so happy to have such an opportunity as it was unimaginable for us to lecture at the historical Oxford University. We are thankful towards the students who, throughout the lecture, responded with cheers and responses, and while we prepared for the lecture we were able to look back at our careers, making this event meaningful."

After London, Super Junior will be headed to Japan for their "Super Show 5 in Osaka" which will be held on November 15 to 16.
