T.O.P's "Doom Dada" Hits 2 Million Views on YouTube

T.O.P's weirdly eccentric music video for "Doom Dada" has been making a lot of waves and has reached the 2 million-viewer mark on YouTube in just 2 days!

T.O.P is literally at the top of his game with his first comeback in three years. His latest title track, "Doom Dada" has reached 2 million just within two days of release. And if that isn't enough, T.O.P is also soaring music charts locally and abroad.

The "Doom Dada" MV was first launched on YG Entertainment's official YouTube channel on November 16 and by then has already gained one million views on its first day.

The music video was directed by Seo Hyun Seung, who's the same genius behind G-Dragon's "Coup d'etat" MV and Taeyang's "Ringa Linga" MV. The concept for T.O.P's latest music video was inspired by Kim Ji Woon's movie "The Good, The Bad, The Weird" which was released in 2008. Seo Hyun Seung's take on "Doom Dada" is eerie, eccentric, and artistic in the right amounts.

T.O.P personally wrote the lyrics to "Doom Dada", and the composition was done by him together with the help of Choice37. The song completely reflects T.O.P mysterious side with its metaphoric lyrics and surreal vibe.

T.O.P explained the whole concept for the song and the video in an interview. "Rather than choosing to try and appeal to the masses, I chose character. As it is an experimental song, it could be quite an adventure."

T.O.P is currently juggling between his being a musician and an actor, as he continuously promotes "The Commitment" while promoting "Doom Dada" and participating in Big Bang's 6-Dome Concert Tour in Japan. He is also scheduled to make an appearance at the 2013 MAMA as one of the performers.
