With His Success In Small Screens, Is Taecyeon Ready To Move It Up To The Big Screen?

With 2pm being successful in South Korea and all over the world, how did Ok Taecyeon, the group’s rapper, make it also successful in his acting career?

Ok Taecyeon, a one-sixth of the group 2pm, seems like to be rating as an actor in the television screens. The 24-year old singer was first featured in music videos of other artists, such as, Bada and Baek Ji Young, before he debuted in a KBS' drama "Cinderella Sister" in 2010.

He then starred in another KBS drama, "Dream High," together with co-member, Jang Woo Young and co-label artist, Miss A's Suzy in January 2011. It was September of that year when Taecyeon was starred in a Japanese Sunday drama, "Boku to Star no 99 Nich," together with Korean actress, Kim Tae Hee and Japanese actor, Nishijima Hidetoshi.

He was also featured recently in MBC's global edition of "We got Married," paired up with Emma Wu, which gained him more popularity in Southeast Asia. He is currently in tVN's drama, "Who Are You," casted together with So Yi Hyun, which have received good ratings.

In line with this, Taecyeon is said to be starring for his first movie titled, " Marriage Blue." The film will be including Lee Yeon Hee, Go Jun Hee, Joo Ji Hoon and many more. Taecyeon's debut in the big screen talks about four couples and their marriages. The movie is scheduled to be shown November of this year.
