Girls Generation's Sooyoung Will Be Hosting The 2013 Women In Films Award Solo

It has been confirmed that Sooyoung will be the sole host of this year's 2013 Women In Films Award.

Sooyoung will be hosting the 2013 Women In Film Awards on December 5, which is now celebrating its 14^th year. A representative from the Committee of Women in Film made the announcement and said, "Despite Sooyoung's busy schedule, she happily accepted the offer to hose the 2013 Women In Film Awards, being that she is one of the members of the Committee of Women in Film. Through this, Sooyoung expressed her burning passion in film and acting."

The committee also commented, "There are not a lot of female MCs who host alone at year-end awards. This will truly showcase Sooyoung's abilities as a fine host."

In the meantime, Girls' Generation's is prepping up for their promotions in Japan beginning with the release of the preview clip of their latest single "Gossip Girls". Sooyoung and the rest of Girls' Generation have also announced that they will embark on a Japan tour next year.
