JYP Entertainment is almost into the big revelation of their new artists and has been reportedly planning to launch the debut of a 7-member boy group, who are already being given a title as 'the next 2PM', which has been reported to come out on January.
According to multiple sources in a OSEN's exclusive report, JYPE has been planning for the debut of a 7-member boy group early this January. If the said reports are true, this will be their first boy group after 2PM's debut in six years. Although there is already speculations surrounding the agency's upcoming girl group and 5Live, it has been reported that another boy group will make their debut before the others. Some of the members has been introduced through the trainee battle between JYP and YG trainees on 'WIN'.
According to a close source of JYP Entertainment told MyDaily on the December 24, "A 7-member idol group which specializes in martial arts will debut mid-January 2014... If 2PM are aces at acrobatics and beastly idols whose strengths are their strong and manly charms, this upcoming idol group are boys with softer charms and can also perform martial arts. You will be able to get a more youthful feeling from them."
JYPE has also been preparing for the debut of their new girl group as well as the debut of 5Live which is reportedly set for mid-next year.
A representative of JYP told Star News that JJ Project will also be part of the upcoming boy group, stating, "JYP's new boy group is preparing to debut with the global market in mind... JJ Project are also members of JYP's new boy group. They are already receiving interest from major labels in Japan and more even prior to their debut."
