Rain has been cleared of prosecution suspicion for allegedly violating military service regulations while he was a celebrity recruit who was active in duty.
As reported previously, a concerned citizen had filed a formal complaint against Rain in the Seoul Central Prosecutor's Office last November for violating military service regulations and taking a lot of vacations while serving as a celebrity recruit.
It has been said that the complainant who reported Rain watched the footage of the program, 'On-Site 21' on celebrity recruits, which showed Rain, KCM, Mighty Mouth's Sangchu, and Se7en having a night out drinking together after official duties, and also seeking out massage parlors in the case of Sangchu and Se7en. At the time, Rain has been let off with a light punishment of 1 week probation when his previous military controversy arose about his vacation days, and was not considered to have done anything wrong by the military in the outing he took part in in the footage from 'On-Site 21'.
After Rain's participation the investigation last month, Cube DC stated on December 24, "According to the Seoul Central Prosecutors' Office, Rain was cleared of suspicion concerning his alleged violations of military service regulations."
Being this a Christmas gift to him, Rain has just returned to Korea after filming his Hollywood film 'The Prince' and is now preparing for his new album to be released on January 6.
