G-Dragon has been talk of the whole week. After the release of his second solo album, his art exhibition called, "Space Eight," and a feature in 'Complex' magazine, the BIGBANG leader has been topping off all the charts locally and internationally.
Six of his songs from his new album are in the Gaon Charts, two in the Billboard K-pop Hot 100 and "Coup D'Etat" has entered Billboard's Top 200. He also has won the top spot on Mnet's M Countdown, wherein he bowed a 90-degree angled bow to thank the crowd.
He also has collaborated with well acclaimed female rapper, Missy Elliot for the song, "Niliria."
But with the whole week busy for G-Dragon, but he never forgets to share his blessings.
Before the release of his album, he donated 81,800,000 won (est. $73,000) to Seungil Hope Foundation on his birthday.
He also gave 2,478 tons of rice, which was an excess given by his fans gave him on the finale of his solo concert and also added 1 ton of rice to Good Way with Us according to funding company UCANFUNDING.
The rice he donated will be going to the 31 low-income families and in the House Of Hope, which is a shelter for those who are financially troubled.
