SISTAR member Hyolyn recently released her own version of “Let It Go”, part of the original motion picture soundtrack for the latest Disney animated hit “Frozen”.
Hyolyn becomes the second Korean artist to sing the end credit song for a major Disney release. The first one was Park Jung Hyun, who sang the Korean version of “Reflection” for “Mulan”.
“Frozen” topped multiple box-office charts during its release. The movie has also been picked up for several nominations in the 71st Golden Globe Awards including “Best Original Song” for “Let It Go” which was originally sung in English by Demi Lovato.
Hyolyn is certainly making gains in the international market especially after the release of her solo album “Love & Hate” and her collaboration with multi-talented Grammy awardee Stevie Wonder at last year’s Mnet Asian Music Awards.
