"You Who Came From The Stars" Gets Complaints From Apartment Tenants On Set

Hit drama series "You Who Came From The Stars" recently had some trouble on set after tenants of the apartment used for filming expressed their anger at how the production has caused them much inconvenience.

Hit drama series "You Who Came From The Stars" recently had some trouble on set after tenants of the apartment used for filming expressed their anger at how the production has caused them much inconvenience.

A tenant complained on January 6 that the production completely closed off the path leading to the elevator and no one from the building other than members of the crew were allowed to enter the area. Because of the incident, a tenant and a member of a staff had a nasty exchange of words which led to the tenant airing out her complaints on the drama's website. As a result, the production team issued an apology that was even plastered on the elevator.

A representative from HB Entertainment said, "Yes, we did post a letter of apology. But it's not really a big issue."

A lot of the scenes from the drama are set inside the apartment building where Jun Ji Hyun's and Kim Soo Hyun's characters are neighbours. Everything is shot inside the premises of an apartment in Mokdong-from hallways to actual apartment units.

Despite these problems, "You Who Came From The Stars" maintains its outstanding ratings, consistently going beyond the 20% viewer benchmark.
